Mount Kenya AA/AB
This coffee is a blended lot from some of the best co-ops in Kenya, and we were lucky to receive a bag of it from our partners up at Spring Valley Coffee in Nairobi. If we’re honest, Kenyan coffees always received mixed reviews in our roastery (one of our team is very biased against black tea), but this one has been a winner in everyone’s minds. It’s beautifully sweet and juicy, with very prominent fruity notes. Sweet and tart passion fruit mingles with juicy clementines before settling into a subtle biscuit and delicate black tea finish. Take your time with this coffee and let it cool, enjoying the way it changes with every sip.
This coffee comes from a number of small-hold famers in the region of Mount Kenya, hence the name of this beautiful blended lot. We had the opportunity to source some of this gorgeous lot because of our partnership with Spring Valley in Nairobi.
