Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Kochere
This washed Yirgacheffe from Ethiopia is of the Heirloom varietal and is one of the most versatile and interesting coffees we have had the pleasure of roasting! It brews espressos with notes of bright apricot and has a subtle florality presenting itself as orange blossom and sage. It really shines however as a milk beverages where the underlying sweetness of this coffee exhibits notes of condensed milk and blonde caramel with a subtle coconut finish. In 2019 Trevor, our roaster, competed with this Yirgacheffe at the Gauteng Regional Barista Championships and won cementing it’s place in our line up of favourites!
